    I picked up two quarts of ripe, red strawberries last Saturday from Barker's Farm at the farmers market and there they sat on my counter, ripening and ripening. I can't eat that many strawberries myself but they looked so good and strawberry season is so short here in New England I got greedy ... Barker Farm says that despite the rain, the strawberries are plentiful this season and we'll be getting strawberries until the end of June and maybe into July so there are still some around.
